There's a knowing in your body that talk can't always reach.

BREATHE WITH MEEKA

This is not about breathing the “right” way.

It’s not about control or perfection.
It’s not about bypassing your pain or fixing your feelings.
Breathwork with me is about meeting yourself fully—with breath as your guide.

You don’t need words here.
You don’t need a clear story.
You just need a body willing to try.

Who it’s for:

People carrying stress, trauma, or emotions too big for words

  • Folks who’ve done talk therapy but still feel stuck

  • The ones who feel disconnected from their bodies or unsure how to feel at all

  • Anyone ready to meet their nervous system with care, curiosity, and honesty

In our sessions, we use conscious connected breath to invite the nervous system into conversation.
Breath becomes a bridge—between what’s been held in and what wants to move.
Sometimes you’ll shake. Sometimes you’ll cry. Sometimes you’ll feel nothing, then everything. It’s all welcome.

I also invite in:

  • Intuitive movement and sound – yell, shake, dance, or be still

  • Integration time – to ground and reflect

  • Choice – always. You’re in charge of your own body. You can stop, pause, or adjust at any time.

This practice is rooted in ancient lineages, and I hold deep respect for the cultures that have carried breath as medicine for centuries. I offer this work with humility, transparency, and a trauma-informed lens.

What to expect:

Origins

Breathwork has deep roots across cultures, with many practices tracing back thousands of years to traditions like pranayama in ancient India, Taoist breath cultivation in China, and Indigenous rhythms of breath, chant, and ceremony.

Across these lineages, the breath is more than air—it’s a carrier of life force energy (known as prana, qi, or spirit) that moves through and connects all living things.

Modern breathwork draws from these ancient understandings, reminding us that the breath is a powerful bridge between body, spirit, and the natural world.

Training

I’m certified in Flow Breathwork through the facilitator training created by Shanila Sattar. This approach weaves together ancient breath traditions and modern science, grounding in nervous system awareness, elemental practices, intuitive movement, and energy work. The training centers decolonizing wellness and making healing more accessible—honoring both ancestral wisdom and present-day needs.

During Flow Breathwork, we practice a 3 part circular breath (Dirga) while inviting in movement, dance, and energy healing.

Through this approach, I guide others in partnering with their breath to move stagnant energy and reconnect—with themselves, their aliveness, their essence, and their truth.

Science

Our bodies are always picking up on signals—constantly asking, am I safe? For people who’ve experienced trauma, this system can stay on high alert, leading to feelings of anxiety, numbness, or disconnection that don’t always make sense on the surface. Sometimes we feel shut down and overwhelmed at the same time.

Breathwork gives us a way to work with that. By shifting how we breathe, we can help the nervous system settle, release built-up tension, and reconnect to a sense of safety—at a pace the body can actually handle.

Breathwork invites the nervous system into conversation, not command. With each breath, we offer the body a chance to soften its guard, to move what’s been held too tightly, and to remember safety—not as a demand, but as a possibility.

Breathwork Offerings

1:1 Breathwork

No, we’re not “just breathing.” This isn’t a quick-fix or good vibes only. One-on-one breathwork is about dropping below the surface—into the shit we usually outrun.

In a one-on-one breathwork session with me, you’ll be guided through a practice tailored to your needs—whether you're seeking release, regulation, or reconnection. We’ll start with a short check-in, then move into a guided breath pattern supported by music, movement, and space to feel whatever comes up. I’ll verbally guide you throughout, and we’ll close with time to rest and reflect.

No experience needed—come as you are.

Group Breathwork

Group breathwork is a space to land in your body—together. Whether it’s part of a retreat, a workshop, or a one-time gathering, these sessions offer a chance to connect with yourself in the presence of others doing the same.

We begin by grounding as a group and naming what’s present, then move into a guided breath practice paired with music, movement, and somatic release. You might find yourself crying, shaking, laughing, yelling, or resting in stillness—there’s no right way to be here. I’ll guide you the whole way, offering invitations (never demands) as you listen to what your body needs. We close with time to integrate, reflect, or simply be in community.

You don’t need any prior experience. Just curiosity, care, and the courage to show up as you are.

Breathwork + Parts Work

This session blends breathwork with parts exploration—supporting you in connecting not just to your body, but to the different parts of you that show up in your healing.

We’ll begin by mapping what’s present—maybe a protective part that’s on guard, a younger part carrying grief, or a part that feels shut down or unsure. Then, we’ll move into a guided breathwork journey (can be individual or group) to help those parts soften, express, or be witnessed through the body.

This isn’t about fixing or forcing—it’s about meeting what’s real, with breath as the bridge. You’ll be supported the whole way through, with time to integrate at the end.
