Therapy with Meeka
If you’ve ever been labeled “the issue” when you were actually the one holding it all…
If you’ve had to perform calm while your body screamed otherwise…
If you’ve never quite fit the mold—neurodivergent, queer, too loud, too quiet, too much, too something—
This space is for you.
I work with teens and adults navigating trauma, masking, and the disconnection that comes from living in a world that doesn’t make space for your full humanity.
Many of the folks I support are still in environments that feel unsafe. Some are just now learning what safety could feel like. Wherever you’re at, we start there.
My Approach
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I pull from what works—not just what’s billable.
My work blends evidence-based practices with deep intuitive care.
I weave together:
Parts Work (Internal Family Systems) – to map the different voices and protectors inside you, so nothing has to be exiled anymore
Somatic and trauma-informed practices – to help your body remember what regulation feels like without forcing it
Mindfulness and narrative therapy – to explore the stories you carry and who they serve
Relational, consent-based therapy – where we name power dynamics and move at the speed of trust
Joy, music, nature, art, and movement – because sometimes healing needs a beat, a breeze, a dance break
This work is collaborative. I don’t sit across from you as an expert on your life—I sit beside you, and we listen together.
What It’s Like in the Room:
We laugh here. We cry here.
We wander. We challenge systems. We get curious about the part of you that’s afraid to speak.
Sometimes we go outside. Sometimes we sit on the floor. Sometimes we listen to music when words don’t fit.
You get to be real. You don’t have to perform.
